Trees Along Transit:
Free Tree Program for Properties Along the Bus Rapid Transit Route
OKC Beautiful is teaming up with Enterprise and the Arbor Day Foundation to plant 450 trees along the newly established Bus Rapid Transit Route!
Trees are free to properties directly adjacent to the Bus Rapid Transit route. (Click here for a map of the project area). You can choose from the following tree species: Shawnee Brave Bald Cypress, Silverwood Sycamore, Lacebark Elm, Shademaster Honeylocust, Black Gum. Click here for details on tree species.

Trees will be available for pick up in the first two weeks of December, or you may request planting assistance. Planting dates will be coordinated with you, depending on our availability.

Participation Requirements:

Must be a property in the project area along the BRT Northwest line. Click here for a project area map.

Property owner / tenant must commit to watering the trees until established (minimum of three years) and caring for the tree(s) in perpetuity.

Request must be made by the property owner.

Trees should not be planted along the roadside in public right of way and should be planted in between the sidewalk and building.
