OKC Harvest
School gardens most often succeed where there is a dedicated gardener in charge of maintenance who also coordinates with teachers to provide hands-on lessons to students. Thanks to a capacity-building grant from Sprouts, OKC Beautiful was able to launch a garden educator pilot program to demonstrate this model at two carefully chosen elementary schools.
Mother Earth
Join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 a.m. for Facebook Live with Mother Earth (from the comfort and safety of your home)! We will be reading books and playing games related to plants, recycling, litter, and composting! The books and activities will be geared toward elementary ages Pre-K through 4th grade.
