Community Foresters Program
The Community Foresters Program is a four-week training course designed to develop a well-prepared and educated volunteer force for Oklahoma City's tree canopy. Through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on activities, participants will learn about tree identification, planting, maintenance, and more!
Classes are taught by urban foresters, certified arborists, and landscape professionals.

To complete the program, participants are required to attend four sessions and complete 10 volunteer hours annually. The series of classes takes place every Saturday in February. Applications for the 2025 Cohort will open in November 2024.

Once completing the Community Foresters program, participants will have a depth of knowledge for tree care and advocacy and be equipped to take on leadership roles in OKC Beautiful’s volunteer events.
