About the event
OKC Beautiful is teaming up with Arbor Day Foundation to plant 100 trees in Northwest Oklahoma City. Trees will be planted by volunteers on April 4th, 2026.
Role of volunteers - Volunteers will meet at Duckie's Woodfire for a tree planting demonstration and volunteer training. No experience is required - all training and tools necessary will be provided. Following this, you will split into teams with a Team Lead to plant trees throughout the Crestwood and Las Vegas neighborhoods in NWOKC. Traveling a short distance to your tree planting sites will be required. Please wear closed-toed shoes and appropriate clothing that can get dirty. We will provide gloves, water, snacks, and any other tools necessary.
Time Obligation - Saturday, April 4th, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
(Planting Demonstration 9:00 - 9:30 a.m., Planting in Neighborhoods from 9:30 a.m. - noonish)
