Wildflowers

OKC Beautiful's Wildflower program was launched in 1987 as a collaborative effort with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation and the City of Oklahoma City to help beautify and conserve public lands. Since that time, hundreds of acres of public right of way have been seeded with wildflowers.

Adding native plants to public areas not only beautifies our community, but also provides necessary pollinator habitat, improves water quality, improves soil health, and more. If you are interested in sponsoring a wildflower project, contact Natalie Evans at 405-525-8822.
