On February 28th from 1-4 p.m., OKC Beautiful and Oklahoma History Center Museum are hosting a program highlighting both environmental justice and injustice here in Oklahoma City.
Join us for an exciting and informative program that dives into the powerful concepts of environmental justice and explores how our environment directly impacts our health and wellbeing.
Event Agenda:
1:00 p.m. - Dr. Carrie Leslie (University of Oklahoma) and Abby Randall (EcoRise) will lead an engaging lecture on Environmental Justice 101, laying the groundwork for understanding this crucial issue.
1:50 p.m. Dr. Matthew Pearce, State Historian of the Oklahoma Historical Society, will take us on a compelling journey through the history of environmental injustices that have shaped Oklahoma City.
