The Garden Educator is a part-time position that offers critical support to teachers and students to ensure that a school can maximize the educational potential of their garden. The Garden Educator leads garden education lessons incorporating science, nutrition and other topics for children in Pre-K through 4th grade. Lesson plans and resources are pre-prepared for Garden Educators. It is preferred that the candidate have experience with organic gardening practices in Oklahoma and experience working with elementary-aged children. This job is best suited for someone with a passion for gardening and a strong interest in positively impacting the education and health of children.
