About the event
OKC Beautiful is teaming up with neighbors and community organizations to plant 200 trees in your area of Oklahoma City! Trees are free to organizations, businesses, and neighbors in the project boundaries. Trees provide shade, improve air quality, benefit the environment, and beautify our neighborhoods. This project is supported by the Arbor Day Foundation and International Paper.
Participation Requirements:
Must be a property in the project boundaries:
Between NE 23rd & NE 4th and between I-35 & I-235
Trees can only be requested for the front yard of a residential property or areas of commercial properties not behind a fence.
Property owner / tenant must commit to watering the trees until established (minimum of three years) and caring for the tree(s) in perpetuity.
