OKC Beautiful's Sustainability Social Hour is for those who love the environment and our city. Each session is centered around networking with those who have a passion for and want to learn more about environmental stewardship topics.
Each session features a conversational Q&A with a guest speaker. March features Leslie Caldwell, a Registered Interior Designer with a passion for sustainability. She coordinates upcycled waste events to deter design items (carpet, tile samples, etc.) from the landfill by giving them away to the community. The event includes a mix and mingle portion from 5:00- 5:30, then kicks off the one-hour Q&A session.
Leslie Caldwell is a born and raised Oklahoman. She is a graduate of Edmond North High School and Oklahoma State University. She is currently employed at Guernsey as a Registered Interior Designer. Leslie is presently serving as the director of IIDA Oklahoma City and runs an annual zero-waste event…
