Tree Planting Volunteer Call

OKC Beautiful is teaming up with Oklahoma Forestry Service and the USDA Forest Service to plant up to 400 trees in the NEOKC area. These trees will be planted by volunteers on May 2nd, 2026.

About the event
Role of volunteers - Volunteers will meet at HQ (TBD) for a tree planting demonstration and volunteer training. No experience is required - all training and tools necessary will be provided. Following this, you will split into teams with a Team Lead to plant trees throughout neighborhoods in NEOKC. Traveling a short distance to your tree planting sites will be required. Please wear closed-toed shoes and appropriate clothing that can get dirty.
Time Obligation - Saturday, May 2nd, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (Planting Demonstration 9:00 - 9:30 a.m., Planting in Neighborhoods from 9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.)
