OKC Tree Program

OKC Beautiful is teaming up with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant 400 trees in your area of Oklahoma City! Trees are free to organizations, businesses, and neighbors in the project boundaries. Trees provide shade, improve air quality, benefit the environment, and beautify our neighborhoods. This project is supported by the Arbor Day Foundation.
You have the option to have trees planted by trained volunteers the morning of April 4th, OR, pick up the afternoon of April 4th and plant yourself.
If requesting planting assistance, trees will be planted by trained volunteers the morning of April 4th, 2026. In the weeks leading up to planting, you will be contacted to schedule a time for one of our program representatives to visit your property with you and help determine the best planting location(s). OKC Beautiful will process all OKIE811 requests to ensure no conflicts with utilities on your property.
If picking up and planting your trees, these will be available at a distribution event the afternoon of April 4th.
All trees are 3-5 foot tall, 5-gallon, 1/2" caliper.
You can choose from the following tree species:
-
Loblolly Pine
