OKC Beautiful has planted more than 1,200 acres of wildflowers along public motorways and we are looking forward to planting even more!  Since the inception of the Wildflowers Program, OKC Beautiful has planted more than 7,000 daffodils and countless wildflowers that line our public roadways each spring.  These flowers reflect and celebrate Oklahoma’s native culture and provide a splash of color to otherwise drab surroundings.  Plantings are made possible by coordinating our efforts with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, the City of Oklahoma City and the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority.
