About the event
OKC Beautiful's Sustainability Social Hour is for those who love the environment and our city. Each session is centered around networking with those who have a passion for and want to learn more about environmental stewardship topics.
Each session features a conversational Q&A with a guest speaker. July features Ben Birdwell, founder of Ralph's Ranch, an urban farm and event venue located in Oklahoma City. Ben is a born and raised Oklahoman. After living abroad for the majority of his twenties, he returned to Oklahoma City in 2018 for work and community. With the dream of carving out a safe space for queer outdoor loving Oklahomas, Ben created Ralph’s Ranch in 2022. He has been working diligently to create a beautiful, safe, and peaceful space for all Oklahomas. Ralph’s Ranch is a regenerative practicing farm, with the intent to help teach Oklahoman’s how to farm sustainably and intentionally. From cut flowers to fresh veggies, the farm has grown with the help of friends and community members to a successful commercial urban farm.
The event includes a mix and mingle portion from 5:00- 5:30, then kicks off the one-hour Q&A session.
All ages are welcome! You do not have to be 21+ to attend.
