About the event
Trees will be planted by volunteers on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Volunteers will meet at Portland Avenue Baptist Church (1301 N Portland Ave) for a tree planting demonstration and volunteer training. No experience is required - all training and tools necessary will be provided. Following this, you will split into teams to plant trees throughout the project area (maps below). Traveling a short distance to your tree planting sites will be required.
