Worm Bin Workshop

Learn about vermicomposting at this Worm Bin Workshop! During the class, you will build a worm bin to take home with you - all supplies included. The class will be taught by Crystal Walker, local composting expert and educator, @compostfairyy. Class cost will include all materials for a take-home worm bin, including worms! 

Did you know that humans produce one pound of organic waste a day? Over a lifetime, that's nearly 30,000 pounds of organic waste! But most of this can be eliminated simply by composting your kitchen scraps at home. This class will walk you through the simple steps of creating and maintaining a vermicomposting (worm) bin that can be kept in your home on a shelf or in a cabinet.
